Data Mining
Much of Probado's extensive data mining experience is for the Department of the Navy.
Our query process begins with customer interviews in order to develop a thorough understanding of our customer requirements. We then create data prototypes to identify significant patterns and trends in large databases and ensure customer satisfaction with our data mining procedures. Our data mining experts use their skillful interpretation of data to provide trend analysis capability for customer analysts.
Statistical Analysis
Probado performs statistical analysis while working in conjunction with the resource, planning and operational areas of their customers, including Department of the Navy.
Whether the focus is for an external customer or an internal one, our analysts have an in-depth knowledge of all phases of their customer's operations. Our Management Team, for example, utilizes statistical analysis in benchmarking and estimation for both software and courseware projects. Some of our internal teams provide statistical analysis for our customers in their daily operations.
Technical Reporting
Probado produces standardized, technical reports as a function of several applications, many of which we have created or upgraded.
Our development teams have created formats as required for given applications and as appropriate for given audiences. In addition, as part of our data mining effort for one customer, we generate monthly, quarterly and yearly statistical reports, plus enable ADHOC reporting. We ensure accuracy is maintained by utilizing peer and quality control reviews prior to publication, providing internal and Freedom of Information requests.
Just as our applications are otherwise subject to process and output oversight, application reports are generated in response to customer requirements. For further verification, our reports are rigorously reviewed, in formal, peer and JAD reviews, as well as full QC though functional and system testing.
Metrics Generation
Probado generates metric data monthly, quarterly and yearly.
This information is used in statistical technical reporting for customer applications. In addition, Probado Management requires each group to maintain metrics for their processes and products. All Group and Project Leads develop and maintain metrics for project planning and oversight efforts. Probado Management uses these metrics in conjunction with those maintained by their customers to improve its estimation and process improvement efforts.
Production Scenarios
Probado disseminates current and historical data for its customers.
We provide such data for all phases of Aviation Training via production scenarios. These scenarios are produced utilizing numerous formats and are distributed by various means; both in hard copy and via the Web. By enabling such production scenarios, our customers can realize an enviable flexibility in budget and estimating efforts. Opportunities are then provided for reviewing actual versus estimated outcomes.
