Site Content Accountability
Probado maintains a constant state of compliancy with Department of Defense standards for web site content.
We have expanded the use of those standards for the non-military marketplace.
All sites Probado has built or continues to maintain for the Federal Government and U.S. Navy are deemed compliant with Department of Defense standards for publicly accessible web sites via Public Affairs web assessment teams. Our history includes absorbing content maintained by government agencies and other defense contractors previously shutdown. Probado has successfully taken previously shutdown sites, and brought them to compliancy. To ensure field input is as accurate as possible and is relative to the content designed for the site (where sites are application specific) input is secure via screens with controls per field.
Web Accessibility (Section 508)
In accordance with the 1998 Section 508 Amendment of the Rehabilitation Act, The United States Government mandated that:
“All government web sites shall be accessible to all persons, regardless of physically challenging disabilities.”
Probado goes to great lengths to bring Department of Defense web sites into compliancy with this amendment. In addition, Probado Technologies works with the assigned Public Affairs Officer on each web site to ensure compliancy, making the Internet a better place for everyone.
